We try to determine all colours represented on the website are an accurate reflection of the product, however, for added reassurance we are happy to provide colour samples where possible upon request.
Please note it is the customer's responsibility to measure the space and ensure the goods will fit.
Stock availability information on the website is the latest updated record but may not be totally current and does not guarantee that stock is available.
Payment for all orders is at point of sale. All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.
If for any reason the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
We provide 4 weeks free storage which begins after your full delivery lead time. Thereafter, storage is charged from £20 a week depending on the value of the goods.
Most deliveries will be carried out by our in-house delivery team. For smaller products and delivery to Aberdeen and the Scottish Highlands, we will contact you if on occasion we enlist the services of a courier company.
Once a delivery slot is confirmed by the customer, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure they will be available to receive the goods, otherwise a re-delivery charge starting from £45 will apply.
Please be aware it is the customer's responsibility to check that any orders will fit through doorways, stairwells and staircases. This includes any tables with tops in excess of 220cm. If you are in any doubt, please talk to our team prior to delivery who can advise. A re-delivery charge may be applied should our team need to return or use more specialist equipment than the standard two-man crew.
Due to the weight and size of some of our products, once the team arrive, it is the customer’s responsibility to move any pets and minors out of harms’ way during assembly for safety reasons. We also ask customers to not help the team as they are fully trained in the handling of the goods.
Upon receipt of the goods, it is the customer’s responsibility to check over the order and its assembly to ensure it is in good condition. We take full responsibility for any product damage found during inspection only upon delivery.
Please note our team are not permitted to hang, mount objects or make alterations to your home such as drilling holes into walls.
We recommend you ensure the wall on which you intend to hang the item is suitable and use a wall fixing kit suitable for the type of wall for extra stability. These are available from local hardware stores and online.
Any tall bedroom chests of drawers or any wide chests of drawers will need affixing to a wall. During use please ensure you only place heavy items in the lowest drawers.
Looking After Your Furniture
For any bespoke cleaning instructions, please contact our customer services team who will be happy to advise.
It is the customer's responsibility to periodically check all fixings, ensuring that they are still tight. This will prolong the life of the product and maintain its durability and safety.
For any purchased furniture-care products, please refer to the labels. Please note, Lime Modern Living cannot take responsibility for any misuse of these items.
All goods are subject to a 2 year manufacturers' guarantee which does not cover damage or misuse. If your goods are faulty, please contact the showroom for advice as to how to proceed.
Online & Telephone Returns
If your goods are faulty, please begin by calling one of our services representatives on 01892 544846 who will advise you how to proceed. We hope you will be happy with your order, but if for any reason you are not, you can cancel your order up to 14 days after receiving your goods. This does not apply to goods made to order.
If you are returning your goods, our returns address is: Lime Modern Living, 86 Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TN1 2UN.
Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt and we will gladly offer you an exchange, refund or credit note within 14 days.
This does not apply to goods made to your specification. Please use insured registered delivery, the cost of which starts from £19, product dependent, and keep the receipt. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transport. Please note that we do not offer a free returns service.
Unwanted items must be returned in a fully resaleable condition, and must not have been used or assembled by the customer in any way. We reserve the right to refuse a refund on any item not deemed to be resaleable.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
