The Poppy rug is a hand-woven reversible rug composed of New Zealand wool and linen on cotton warp. Poppy features stripes of two colours on a natural background with a solid border at each end. Poppy can be selected in a choice of colours, and is available a rectangular rug or as a runner. As this rug is reversible, we recommend you turn it every 6 months.
About Your Rug: Each rug is hand made so please allow for size tolerances of +/-4% and irregularities in colour and weaving owing to its unique nature.
If your floor is treated with water-based lacquers, please wait for 3 months before adding a rug. Fabula recommend using an underlay to extend the life of your rug and reduce the risk of staining. Do note the underlay is not suitable for floors treated with solvent sealants.
Cleaning Your Rug: Vacuum as needed without using any nozzles. Wool rugs can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth soaked in carbonated water. For anything more intensive, we recommend professional cleaning.
